The ALLEN name is one of the longest serving and oldest name in the funeral industry proudly serving Sangre Grande and its environs since1940. We are now in its fifth generation of family in the business.

Started by our Grandparents Mr Hector Allen and Mrs Carmen Allen Who had three children that all got in the funeral business.

My Father, Clive Allen Snr, opened his funeral business independently in 1955 and was married to my mother Merle Allen who helped run the business and had seven children. They open one branch in Sangre Grande and another branch in Arima.

In 1988, Clive Allen jr. The last child of the seven children migrated to the United States to study Funeral Directing and Embalming and started working to save funds to open his own funeral home in Trinidad, and gaining experience in the industry. From this period, he completed Private Pilots Training, an Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming and an Associate’s Degree in Funeral Directing and Embalming, and completed The United States National Board Exams for Funeral Directing and Embalming, Graduating in the class of December 1993 at the American Academy Mc Allister Institute of Funeral Service in Manhattan, New York.

In November of 1999, Clive Allen jr returned to Trinidad and founded and opened CLIVE ALLEN FUNERAL SERVICES CO LTD located today at lots 2-4 Eastern Main Road, Guaico, Sangre Grande Trinidad. The business was officially opened on February 12.2000 bringing professional services to the area such as Embalming, Modern Hearses, Professionalism and the United States Standard of Funeral Services never before seen in Sangre Grande and its environs.

In September of 2015, with the help of his wife Trisha Allen and their four sons, Zachary, Triston, kyle and Cody. CLIVE ALLEN CREMATORIUM was  opened added to the Funeral Home at the same location in Sangre Grande making it the FIRST and ONLY full service Funeral Home and Crematorium  in Sangre Grande where  we do services for ALL RELIGIONS AND FAITHS  for Burials, Cremations, Embalming , Wreaths, In House Clothing Store , Modern Hearses, Limousine Services and all aspects of the funeral services in as we say a ONE STOP SHOP AND GET ALL THAT YOU WANT  for a funeral .
